I was looking forward to reading this book because I used to watch this author on You Tube and she gave her own reviews of books she loved and didn't love. I have to say that the book was just ok for me. The cursing was a bit much. It was also like being on a roller coaster ride. One time it would be good, then it was eh, then back to good. I gave this book a 3 star rating. It did give me the feels a few times. So that is one reason it got the 3 stars.😋

Biblical Proof that the Earth is in Fact Round - Isaiah 40:22
My son, tells me, that in some of his circles of online gaming, there are a lot of people that have the perspective that the earth is indeed flat. He can argue with them until he is blue in the face and still not convince anyone that the earth is round, while most of us have known our entire lives that the earth is round, because it makes sense.
In my Bible studies, it has been affirmed that the earth is round. If you look at Isaiah 40:22 it specifically states that the earth is circular. "God is enthroned above the CIRCLE of the earth, it's inhabitants are like grasshoppers." This can be found in most translations of the Bible.
Also in some translations (NASB & ESV) you can also find the proof of this in Job 26:10. Where it says "He has inscribed a circle on the surface of the waters, at the boundary of light and darkness." Which is telling us that the earth is a sphere, not flat.
Most people who believe the earth is indeed flat are Christians, which is really surprising to me, since Christians are not to believe in conspiracy theories. "You are not say 'it is a conspiracy'. Regarding everything that this people call a conspiracy." Isaiah 8:12. I have to say I am a Christian, and I believe the earth is indeed round, and I have always believed that. I have always wondered why God did not just tell us one way or another, well he did tell us, through one of the greatest prophets of biblical days, Isaiah!

My 2025 December Daily
Hey y'all! I have had so much fun putting together some Christmas journals. So first I created a Slimline Blue Christmas journal, that sold already, Thank you! I do have a flip through of this journal and here is the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsA2RhagaxY
And I also completed my December Daily! It turned out so cute. I also have a flipthrough of that one as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPihfnxeMk0 I have really enjoyed making these Christmas journals so far! Hope you enjoy the journals, and Happy Holidays!
Origin of Strength - Matthew 4:4
"People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4
When Jesus was tempted by the devil, he had been in the wilderness for a long time, 40 days and 40 nights. He was not eating any food during that time because he was fasting. He was giving his energy to communing with his Father and gaining strength from their relationship. At the end of his time there, Satan came to tempt him. Jesus, however, resisted the temptation and he never gave in.
It is interesting how God had prepared Jesus for this trial. He did not have self help books or conferences he could attend. Instead, God the Father led Jesus to be physically weaker so that he would lean fully on God. Jesus was on a 40 day fast. This was a fast of love, affirmation, and encouragement. He was not weakened by his lack of food. In fact, he made it clear that food alone wasn't what made a child of God strong. Perhaps that is one of the greatest gifts in fasting -- we are able to see that it isn't the food that sustains us, but God's power that dwells within us.
Where do you find your strength?

Running Free - Hebrews 12:1
"Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.--Hebrews 12:1
Have you ever seen a runner slowed down by extra weight? In the Olympics, do athletes compete with backpacks strapped to them? Of course not. Skilled runners keep themselves as light as possible, wearing aerodynamic shoes, sleeveless tops, and lightweight shorts. Their aim is to remove every obstacle so they can run their race with maximum efficiency.
The author of Hebrews compares the Christian life to a runner’s race. We have the ability to make that race smoother, because the Holy Spirit faithfully reveals the things that are holding us back. We were never meant to run weighed down—sin and disobedience are what slow us. By the Spirit’s power, you can cast off anything that hinders you and press forward in your race.
--What do you need to let go of so you can run your race unhindered?--

The Rapture? WHAT?!
Wow people really have no idea what is going on. We have a false prophet by the name of Joshua Mhlakela who said that the rapture would be on September 23/24. Guess what? It did not happen. We have people claiming to be Christians who are actually falling for the words of this false prophet. Selling their possessions, giving away their savings and making fools of themselves. This false prophet claimed that God spoke to him and told him when the rapture would be. First and foremost the word 'rapture' is not even in the Bible anywhere. There are references in the Bible that point to the 2nd coming, but we will not know the hour, or the time. So all of you so called Christians, open your Bibles and read the truth.
BTW Joshua Mhlakela is still claiming he is right, but because they went by the 'wrong' calendar it would make the rapture set for the October 6-7 I think that is what they said. I am just sitting her and shaking my heads. This has also been very damaging. People selling all of their stuff? This will also make those other people shy away from God, because they chose to listen to this false prophet and God did not come back. So now what does this do? It causes the unbelievers to really not believe, they will not trust anyone who tries to share the gospel with them.
We are living in a really messed up world right now. All we see is violence, anger, hate, false teachers, all I can tell everyone is to get into God's word, everything you need to know is in there and seriously I say "Come Jesus Come"!

RIP Charlie Kirk
Wow, I really have no words really to describe the feelings I am feeling right now, a long with a lot of other conservative Christians. I can't wrap my brain around it, I have tried, and yet I come to no conclusions. It was such a senseless, violent, evil, demonic act. When did it become ok to kill another person to settle disputes. When did it become so popular to take someone out who thought differently than you? There are even people literally celebrating his death. There are news reporters pretty much saying that Charlie Kirk deserved it. Where is the compassion for human life? How does someone who has hurt feelings trump a human life? Why has the TRUTH caused so much violence? My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and other family members. "You have done well, my good and faith servant." Matthew 25:23 R.I.P. Charlie Kirk.

It's been awhile. What's new?
Hey y'all. It has been some time since I have written a blog post. I have been busy reading and crafting. Our grandson is transitioning from being here with us to being home with mom. He is 4 years old now and almost ready to start home schooling. They really do grow really fast. I just completed some projects. I made two Cookbook journals, and both of those sold. Thank you! And I also completed 3 bible study journals. They all turned out awesome. I am now at 95 journals made. That is quite a lot. I am now going to be a guest creator for the #Faithjournaljuly2025. So I am currently working on the journal for that. Let me please leave you with a scripture today. This is from 2Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sake, that abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

Happy Holidays! Let's Bring in the New Year!
Hey everyone, I hope that all of you had a very happy holiday this year. And now we are heading into a new year very soon. I hope y'all have a very prosperous new year.
This year I managed to make 7 Christmas journals. I had 3 that were for sale, and all of them sold. I am so grateful for that. So going into this next year, lets all take the time to be thankful for those things that only God can bless us with. He is so very faithful, you just have to take the steps. God loves you and wants you to be a part of his family.
I also had a great reading month for December, so far I have read 7 books this month, all of which were Christmas books as I like to do in the month of December. I enjoyed most of them. So it was a good month of reading. I also got to read a few books with my sis this year, so that was fun as well.
I am looking forward to growing my you tube channel in this next year. Please go visit The Crafting Bookworm, where you can get book reviews, book tags, bible studies, crafting and book hauls, journal flip throughs, Craft with me videos and much much more. I would love to have come on over and subscribe.

The Crossroads - Chris Grabenstein
Wow, I really enjoyed this story. It is a middle grade book, but really had a nice plot to the story and some great characters. There were parts that definitely read 'middle grade' but it really had some fun elements to the story. I found that the antagonists and t he protagonists worked really well together. The writing was very fluid, and easy to get through. I came across this book because I found the 2nd book at a library book sale and was going to read it until I noticed it was a part of a series. So I will be reading the 2nd book now. Really fun read.

Part of your world
This was an absolutely wholesome romance, and I loved it so much. Great setting, great characters, and great flow. I loved the settings in this book. We have a small town setting, like a really small town, and then the big city life setting. Both settings worked well in this story. The characters were fantastic, even the characters that you love to hate. Our male and female protagonists were just amazing, and they have a phenomenal love story to share with their readers. The flow of the book was amazing. I just zipped through this book in a couple of days. So if you enjoy those romance stories without all of the added detail in the sexy times, then you will love this one! I am looking forward to reading Yours Truly, the next book in this series. So pick this one up and give it whirl! You will be whisked away!

Been a little while
Hey y'all, it has been a little while since I posted anything here. I guess since I do not get many views here, I just forget about it. I am still heavily into crafting, and making my journals. I have been a part of the Peace of God Bible study. We incorporate faith into our journals and we have some bible verses to talk about as well. We are in week 5 right now. We will have 2 more weeks to. You can use #faithfridaypeace on you tube and follow all of the videos from our wonderful creative team. I will also be giving away 2 journals at the end of this Bible study. So don't miss out on that. I am also still reading, not as much as I have read before, but I strive to read at least 4 books a month, and that seems to be working out for me. I am currently reading, Lucky Leap Day. This is a rom com and I am enjoying it quite a bit so far. I think that is about all I have to talk about today.

Been Busy!! Happy Holidays!
Been really busy over here, it usually is around Christmas. We already celebrated our Christmas on the 16th, since my daughter and and family go to Ohio every other year to visit with his family. So this is their year for that.
I have also been very busy where crafting is concerned. I have made a total of 3 Christmas journals this year and now I am working on a special journal as a surprise gift for someone pretty special to me. So that has been super fun!
I have been reading pretty much all Christmas books this month and for the most part I have enjoyed all of them. I have read 7 books so far for the month and only one of them was not Christmas related. I love reading Christmas rom coms mostly, they are so heart warming.
I hope that all of you have a very happy holiday season!

Haunting Adeline Duet
I have been reading the Haunting Adeline Cat & Mouse duet. This series of books has very dark elements, and not suitable for the younger readers or those who are faint of heart. I feel like there is a good story there. something we deal with in this whacked world we live in. I enjoyed the characters. One of our main characters is very dark and cynical and filled with demons we have yet to discover. I feel like I need so much more back story on him, I need to figure out who he is, and why he is what he is. One thing I disliked about him is that he was a hypocrite. He would do things that he swore he was against, those things he fought against. It made no sense to me.
Adeline is stormy, not a bad person, but what she is going through now has brought to the point of breaking. I don't want her to give in or give up. I want her to stay stormy and fight for herself and others. I am at a point in the second book where I feel all the pain and hatred that Adeline is feeling. The words the author has written are pretty potent, that they definitely seep into your mind and soul. Just remember the dark elements and the triggers are ever present in these pages. Would I read this again, no, definitely not.
