Reading Elle Kennedy

 I have to say that I have never been huge on romance until the last couple of years. I really have read a lot of romance and have been trying a lot. The newest romance author I have been reading is Elle Kennedy. I got to say I really like her writing style. I love her female characters, she makes them strong, not the weak naive female heroins in a lot of them. SO pick up an Elle Kennedy book and try it out. She is definitely worth the read.

It Starts With Us - 5 stars

Wow Colleen, you did it again! I was so excited to get this in my book mail. I have been waiting for what seems like forever for this book to be released. This was such a great wrap up to Atlas and Lily's story. Just so beautifully written I can't even express my thoughts right now. Still plenty of drama and excitement, some new characters, just an all round, great finish to the story. Of course it got 5 stars, could I really have rated it anything less? Nope!

Rock Paper Scissors - Alice Feeney

This is actually a first time read for me with this author. This was our book club pick for this month and wow I am so glad it was. I honestly can not rate this book lower than a 5 star. I would rate it higher if I could. It had everything I wanted in a thriller. The drama, the excitement, great plot and amazing characters.

The best part was the way the author leads you down a specific path, you are following it religiously, you are sure you have it figured out, and then, before you know it, that path leads in a completely different direction. I also love how you feel when you finally think that everything is figured out and you begin to breathe a little easier, and you are thinking wow that was great, then BAM something else happens leaving you reeling. Everything was great in this story. I look forward to more Alice Feeney books in my near future.
